A Personal Response!
We want you to see yourself as part of Hills and Hollers Ministries! We do not see you as only as a financial giver, we see you as a friend, companion and partner walking with us in our daily ministry. You are integral to our being able to minister to physically poor and spiritually poor in our County. Because of you the poor in McCreary County know that God loves them and is caring for them. When we touch a life, you, because we are relationally bound, also touch that life.
We can all take a lesson from the early Christian Church. The first followers of Christ devoted themselves to the cause at hand, caring for each other’s needs, not because the Apostles had established doctrine and formula, but because they saw the vital need to take care of each other; those who had, willingly shared with those who didn’t. That is the vision we aspire to.
Everyday in the world there is a new “need” to respond to. With Hills and Hollers Ministries, we are asking you to take that desire to help to a new level. Certainly respond to the need, but also build a relationship. Reach out to Rita and Me, whether it’s an e-mail, a phone call or even a Facebook posting. Allow us to tell you personally how God is moving in McCreary County. That will bless you and it will bless us.
Finally, to our partners that bless us with your gifts for our New Life Center, we thank you and ask you to continue remembering us. To our mission teams that selflessly interrupt their lives and come down to the Hills and Hollers to work and pray with us, you have touched us and the County.
And of course, we need financial support. We are not fully funded by any Church and we receive no grants to operate on. Our work continues only because of the caring hearts of a handful of people.
